1. What is a tracker?

A tracker is a piece of information stored on or read from a device when a service is accessed. It may, in particular, maintain a session, remember a choice, secure a payment, measure usage or load a third-party service.

2. Your choice

Strictly necessary trackers may be used without consent. Non-exempt audience measurement trackers and optional third-party services are only activated after you have given your consent where the regulations so require.

The banner offers you “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customise”, presented on an equal footing. If you close the banner without making a choice, optional purposes remain rejected. Continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

Your choice is retained for a reasonable period, currently six months unless the regulations or settings change, after which you may be asked again. You may change it at any time by means of the permanent “Manage my cookies” link displayed in the footer or in the account settings.

3. Strictly necessary trackers

Tracker or storage Purpose Indicative duration
better-auth.session_token and associated cookies Authentication, session persistence and security Approximately 7 days, renewed depending on activity
sidebar_state Remembering the state of the sidebar Duration required for the preference
projectsPanelOpen Preference for opening the projects panel Local storage until deleted or reset
extensionBannerDismissed Remembering that an interface message has been dismissed Local storage until deleted or reset
rendu-inline-edit Interface editing preference Local storage until deleted or reset
__stripe_mid / __stripe_sid Securing payment and preventing fraud on the subscription or credit purchase page As set by Stripe; generally up to 1 year for __stripe_mid and approximately 30 minutes for __stripe_sid
phasen_consent Proof of the categories accepted or rejected, and of the date and status of the choice 6 months

4. Audience measurement

As at the date of this update, PHASEN does not use any optional audience measurement tool declared as active on the areas covered by this policy. If such a tool is subsequently activated and requires your consent, it will only be loaded after you have given your consent and this policy will be updated.

Before you make your choice, no audience measurement tool subject to consent is loaded. Audience measurement exempt from consent may only be used in strict compliance with the applicable legal conditions, without cross-site tracking or individual identification.

5. Affiliate and partner links

Certain links to manufacturers, distributors, merchants or partners may include a technical parameter making it possible to attribute a click, a sign-up or a purchase to PHASEN. This parameter may be passed on to the merchant or to the affiliate network when you click on the link. PHASEN may thus receive a commission where the conditions of the partner programme are met.

Cookies or other trackers placed after you arrive on the merchant’s website are the responsibility of that merchant or of the network concerned and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. PHASEN does not, by reason of this redirection alone, place an advertising tracker on your device unless such a mechanism is actually installed and declared in this policy.

6. External resources

Graphic or technical resources loaded from a third-party domain may transmit your IP address and technical information to that third party, even without a cookie. PHASEN favours hosting these resources locally where reasonably possible.

7. Web Clipper and local storage

The official Phasen Web Clipper extension may use local storage that is strictly necessary for its operation, authentication, remembering preferences or carrying out the action requested by the user. It only accesses the pages and data necessary for the action triggered, subject to the permissions granted by the browser.

8. Settings and withdrawal

  • Use the “Manage my cookies” link to change the categories at any time.

  • Configure your browser to block or delete cookies.

  • Delete local storage from your browser settings.

  • Refuse the loading of an optional third-party service.

Blocking necessary trackers may prevent login, payment or certain essential features. Refusing optional purposes must not prevent access to the main features of the Service that do not depend on them.

9. Advertising trackers

PHASEN does not currently use any advertising tracker such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag or Hotjar on the areas covered by this policy. If such a tool is subsequently activated, this policy and the consent banner will be updated before or upon its activation, in accordance with the applicable rules.

10. Updates

This policy is updated whenever a tracker, local storage item or third-party service is added, removed or modified. The date shown at the top of the document makes it possible to identify the policy applicable to the recorded choice.
